Aseno supports on testing ingredients at pilot scale through to final production. Instead of creating final commercial formulations, the pilot contains sufficient elements to demonstrate how the ingredient behaves within a matrix. The technical quality of a feed or food containing the new ingredient should be compared to a control feed with the specific market in mind. Measurements of physical properties can help determine an appropriate inclusion level that does not detrimentally affect final product quality. In later development phases, including during in vivo phases of the project, more commercially relevant formulations should be produced at scale.
